TOO TIRED, YET

Some words need to be said about the wonderful days of music I've just spent. Everything started with a superb Bruce Springsteen (despite the sound being not as good as expected) who gave us a memorable night at Santiago Bernabeu. And then Summercase in Boadilla: two nights of music and dancing that my 32-year-old body has somehow survived!

Tomorrow I'll be feeling a bit better and I'll provide you with a full report on these two events, but now just let me thank Anna for her company. (hope you don't mind I've posted these two pictures!) Kisses from Coruña.

You actually like old stuff, don't you?

This is how ages do their work. I think that when I finally get to be a thirty years old, mature and sensible man, I'll write some stuff about my favourite bands (maybe in my current blog), such as Muse and Incubus, and somebody will appear out of the blue saying the same, that it's old school.

Anyway, I've learned that music has everything we can come to experience in our lifes. You can find a song fitting every specific moment of your life; a spiritual or vital one. It does not matter if it's something from the 60's, something from the 70's or something from David Bisbal.

That's why I like to learn from other people's experiences with music, because it's fucking magic coming from human beings. It's something eternal, endless and without time.

I'm happy to hear that you finally decided to dance a couple of songs; you were right, you had to do so.

Kisses.

Hahaha! I'm sure you'll read something like what you've written yourself.
I also like Muse and listen to them most days, mainly when I'm at the gym or in my car. I don't know why but it seems to me that some music has been made to be listened to in the car, going places.
By the way, how on earth can you call Springsteen old stuff??? He is age-less!
And I also agree that there's a song that fits every moment; that songs seem to be valuable to us because they bring memories back.. but I'm learning at the moment to enjoy every track just because of its intrinsic value.
Otherwise, you run the risk of having to stop listening to some pieces of art just because you can't stand the memories any longer.

I use to get over bad memories, so
I don't have that problem. Maybe, if a song brings me mad things to my mind, I can spend some weeks without listening to it, but finally I can go back to sucking it dry out of its whole essence. I think that I'm lucky in that way.

And hell yeah!, Bruce is old stuff, but the best one ever.
